My passion is connection. I love to create spaces where people can reconnect deeply with themselves and the people around them. Whether you are a leader trying to make big changes and inspire others, a team member who wants things to feel better day-to-day, or a community member who wants things to be more just, I am here to help you on your journey.
I like to sit in spaces where things feel stuck, normalize challenges, tend to places that need healing, and move toward hope and inspiration. I hold space for fear, pain and complexity, so that courage and clarity can emerge.
As a former educator and mom of two boys, my heart is always focused on human growth and potential. I am no stranger to struggle so my work is focused on moving through it, toward progress.
I explore challenges with compassion and share tools that result in aha moments and inner transformation for those I work with.
About the name
Little Owl
When thinking of a name for my business, I wanted something that reflected wisdom and leadership. I tried on dozens of ideas, drawing from lots of places of inspiration. I landed on “Little Owl” during a genealogy project when I remembered that my great-grandfather’s name was Little Owl. His trade was listed as “basket maker’ on a census report. How perfect — a symbol of wisdom, the owl and basket making — a maker of containers. I want to create safe spaces (containers) for generating shared wisdom. So, Little Owl Consulting was born!
Names are important, they can tell us a lot about where someone comes from. It can be a reminder of family stories, ties to ancestors, places of origin, culture & beliefs. Or, it can reveal hopes and dreams.
